This is done by building great relationships with the operators that you have the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with. Our Quality team focuses on creating a competitive advantage for our company and our customers through partnership, on-floor inspections, and multiple tech driven measure techniques. We are a small but rapidly growing machining and assembly team that leverages state-of-the-art machining, assembly, and quality control systems to ensure we meet our customers at their point of need. Responsibilities :

  • Perform inspections of setup parts and conduct in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Conduct on-the-floor part inspection audits to maintain production quality.
  • Operate and program CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for inspections, ensuring the highest standards are met.
  • Utilize tools such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, height gauges, and Faro arms (preferred but not required).
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards to inspections.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and workspace that supports efficiency.
  • Use Lean concepts to improve processes and minimize waste.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting colleagues as needed.
  • Follow and implement the companys mission statement and operating principles.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of inspection results, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
  • Willing to work extended hours or additional days when overtime is necessary, as directed by the team leader.

Requirements :

  • Prior experience in quality inspection, especially inspecting setup and in-process parts is desired but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong math skills and the ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Experience with CMM operation and programming is desired but not required.
  • Familiarity with Faro arm operation and programming is preferred but not required.
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • High school diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency required.
  • Preferably a degree or certification in CNC machining, or vocational / trade school training.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a fast learner with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong team player with an intentional attitude of helpfulness and collaboration.
  • Ability to work within set first shift hours, with flexibility for overtime when necessary.
