Job Overview :

The Restaurant / Quick Service Cashier at Shedd Aquarium is essential in providing efficient, friendly, and accurate customer service, handling transactions, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Working in a fast-paced environment, the Cashier will adhere to cash-handling procedures and maintain high standards for service quality and safety. This role requires an enthusiastic individual who is committed to contributing to the success of Sodexo Live! and Shedd Aquarium's mission, vision, and values.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Guest Service Excellence : Provide outstanding, personable service to all Quick Serve customers, creating a welcoming and memorable experience for each guest.
• Accurate Sales Transactions : Process customer sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures to maintain accountability.
• Quality & Safety Compliance : Ensure all quality and safety standards are maintained , from food handling to transaction accuracy, supporting a safe environment for both guests and team members.
• Guest Satisfaction & Teamwork : Contribute to a goal of 100% customer satisfaction through a commitment to teamwork, engaging service, and a positive attitude.
• Safety & Cleanliness Standards : Consistently maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment, following Sodexo Live!'s safety protocols.
• Problem Solving & Memorable Experiences : Act as a passionate problem solver and memory maker, going the extra mile to create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest, whether local or visiting.
