Position Summary
The Carolina Panthers Coordinator, Organizational Social Media Platforms will serve a key role in developing and executing the team's strategy across Panthers ancillary social media platforms. This includes, but not limited to, TopCats, PurrCussion, Sir Purr, Community and Bank of America Stadium. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of social media, with an excellent eye for content that will perform well on various social platforms. The candidate will serve a key role in creating and curating content from multiple sources to form industry-leading social feeds across all platforms and will serve as a primary publisher and community manager for Panthers ancillary social platforms.
Primary Responsibilities
Publish day-to-day content across all organizationally affiliated social accounts (X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.). This includes, but not limited to, TopCats, PurrCussion, Sir Purr, Community and Bank of America Stadium.
Assist with community management including Instagram messages, X mentions and comments on all platforms.
Assist in drafting copy for social media posts.
Assist in the development and upkeep of social publishing calendars, ensuring a strategic and robust content mix that engages fans 365 days a year.
Assist in the development, tracking, and reporting of key social metrics that allow the team to benchmark against our organizational goals.
Monitor trending topics across platforms and react in real-time
Assist with planning and executing content for main accounts and / or partner activations
Collaborate with social media manager on creative activations with outside creators (illustrators, animators, sculptors, etc.)
Assist in live coverage on gameday or event days including posting videos, photos, graphics, etc.
Collaborate with the rest of the digital team to execute engaging content including graphic designers, photographers, videographers and team reporters
Cover events in real-time via social media platforms including Stadium event initiatives, sponsorship events, community events
Work with departments across all business units to deliver social and digital content (community, ticketing, stadium, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2-3 years of experience in social media
Strong working knowledge of social media networks, including Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and more
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Working knowledge of photo and video editing tools
Excellent oral, written, communication, and proofreading skills
Detail-oriented, must be able to multi-task, and must be able to manage time successfully
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and think creatively
Ability to grasp future trends in digital technology and act proactively
Ability to work on a team and independently
Must be flexible to work evenings and / or weekends and all Carolina Panthers and Stadium events, including events held on weekends, nights, and holidays.
Must pass pre-employment screens
Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and / or sensitive information carefully and with sensitivity
Essential Functions
Sitting at a desk and computer for long periods of time.
Bending, standing, reaching, kneeling, and lifting technology equipment and office materials.
Walking throughout the stadium facility, sometimes for an extended period of time.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment (mostly office environment, outside in a stadium facility at times which may include inclement weather conditions).
