Hospital setting

• Patient Ages : adult
• Call : Hotel / Beeper Call - does required to respond in person to those requests, not just phone calls

In a 24 hour period, usually called in 2-5 hours

• 20 minute response time
• 500 bed hospital
• Trauma level 2
• Nursing support staff
• EMR : eCW and Meditech
• Daily patient volume : 28
• Types of cases : General Urology - Mostly kidney stones, Bread & butter cases
• Robotics : 3 XIs
• Required :

DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active VA License
• DEA / CSR
• 200 cases in the last two years
• BLS, PALS, ACLS
