CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.  CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including : a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

What You'll Be Doing (A Glimpse into Your Day in the ED) :

• Rapid Assessment & Intervention :  You'll be the first point of contact for patients in critical moments, quickly assessing their needs, initiating life-saving interventions, and stabilizing conditions.
• Dynamic Patient Care :  From trauma and cardiac events to acute illnesses and unexpected injuries, you'll manage a wide array of patient presentations, often simultaneously, always with a focus on delivering compassionate and efficient care.
• Collaborative Teamwork :  You'll work hand-in-hand with an incredible multidisciplinary team including ED physicians, specialists, technologists, and support staff, ensuring seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Patient & Family Advocacy :  In the fast-paced ED, you'll be a source of comfort and clear communication for patients and their anxious families, providing updates, explanations, and emotional support.
• Crisis Management :  Demonstrating proficiency in crisis situations, you'll efficiently manage critical events, adapting quickly to evolving circumstances, and playing a crucial role in patient stabilization.
