Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer
As the Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer of our newly created aircraft, you will lead efforts for instrumentation design, implementation, and troubleshooting of ground test articles and flight test vehicles. You will be also be responsible for developing and maintaining the ground control station and working with suppliers to develop state of the art test systems.
Duties :
Designing and developing flight test instrumentation and data acquisition systems and equations
Designing and developing instrumentation systems for research and development laboratories
Devising creative ways to test novel engineering designs.
Generating software programs to support test automation and data analysis.
Coordinating with external equipment suppliers
Providing engineering and technical support as part of the test team
Setup and operation of the ground based Command & Control and Telemetry systems
Ensuring instrumentation is properly installed and calibrated
Participating in hands on aircraft troubleshooting efforts.

Requirements : Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in flight or ground test instrumentation engineering
Experience in flight or ground test instrumentation engineering, software engineering, or electrical engineering
Outstanding written and oral communications skills
Ability to work within small teams

A plus :
Experience using IADS for instrumentation implementation and troubleshooting
Unmanned aircraft flight test experience
Electric Propulsion flight test experience
Previous experience developing UAV command and control systems
Experience developing software in a test environment
