Cloud & Azure Engineer
We’re looking for a talented Cloud & Azure Engineer to help shape and scale a rapidly expanding cloud enablement platform. In this hands-on role, you’ll streamline how teams consume and manage AWS and Azure services—automating infrastructure with Python and Terraform, building templates for reuse, and ensuring performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and instrumentation. You’ll partner closely with development teams, tackle complex deployments, and provide expert support for multiple production environments.
This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where your expertise will directly impact the delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions.
What You’ll Do
Develop and refine Python and Terraform (HCL) code to automate AWS / Azure services.
Lead code reviews, testing, and implementation planning for local builds and production releases.
Monitor and maintain system reliability; participate in a rotating on-call schedule for 24 / 7 production support.
Collaborate with vendors and external support teams on upgrades, troubleshooting, and architectural improvements.
Mentor teammates and guide customers in best practices for cloud infrastructure.
What You Bring
2+ years of software development with strong Python (boto3) and Terraform expertise.
Solid experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Route 53, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch) and Azure services (e.g., VNETs, App Services, Function Apps, EventHubs, Blob Storage).
Skilled in designing and building cloud infrastructure for web applications .
Proficient with Linux CLI, version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub), and Agile / Scrum practices.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to triage and resolve issues quickly.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Ansible.
Experience with HTTP / proxy servers (Apache, Nginx), Java web platforms (Tomcat, Spring Boot), or Linux package management.
Background in systems performance tuning, load testing, or large-scale cloud environments.
