- Machining Operations : Set up and operate manual lathes to machine parts according to specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
- Quality Control : Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Make adjustments as necessary to maintain precision and accuracy.
- Attention to Detail : Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the machining process to ensure the highest quality of work.
- Tool Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance on lathes and other machining equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of machining operations, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and production logs.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices in the machine shop.
