This dynamic role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care across various units including Med-Surg, PCU, and ER holding. Be part of a supportive team committed to excellence in healthcare delivery. Key Responsibilities : Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to diverse patient populations. Float across Med-Surg, PCU, and ER holding areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Monitor patient vital signs and condition, promptly reporting changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols. Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Comply with all safety and infection control procedures. Certifications and Licenses : Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice ( Required ) American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification ( Required ) Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are preferred but not mandatory. What You Bring : Proven experience in acute care settings, with a strong foundation in patient assessment and interventions. Flexibility to float between units, adapting to the needs of the hospital. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Education & Experience : Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Prior experience in PCU, Med-Surg, or Emergency Department settings. ICU experience is a bonus, showcasing advanced critical care skills.
