Senior Data Architects

American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Senior Data Architects to Architect internal financial system solutions. Utilize structured analysis and design to formulate plans for modules and / or enhancements in the financial planning system. Report project status and ongoing system or data issues. Perform requirements gathering related to various design concepts applying knowledge of financial models and / or financial analytics. Troubleshoot and debug analytics powered model for better user experience and data integrity for integrating with other systems. Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, and 2 years of experience with economic and financial planning, and financial risk analysis on a global scale. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following : analyzing foreign exchange risk and markets drivers, as well as global and country-specific economic trends and financial risks; translating complex finance and foreign exchange concepts into actionable insights and presentations to senior leaders for decision-making; planning and driving critical projects across Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Controllership functions in local and international markets; developing complex financial analytics and financial models to discover key actionable insights using Advanced Excel and VBA; and financial systems, including Essbase, Oracle Business Intelligence, and TM1.
