- Key Responsibilities Document all IT support service requests in the ticketing system.
- Respond to internal IT and customer requests, escalating when necessary.
- Monitor pending support requests and obtain follow-up information.
- Assist and instruct staff in using Microsoft Office products as an MS Office specialist.
- Produce ad hoc reports as needed to support business operations.
- Facilitate copier, printer, and fax requests within budgetary constraints.
- Identify and automate manual processes in the desktop environment.
- Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions for troubleshooting.
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
- Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional.
- Create and move Active Directory objects and user accounts.
- Perform disk imaging using Windows Deployment Services (WDS).
- Conduct remote troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
- Help create procedure processes, technical documentation, and manuals.
- Collaborate on solutions with team members and customers across the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the IT team.
- Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- One year of related experience in IT support; two years preferred.
- CompTIA A+ certification is highly desired.
- Customer service experience, showcasing your ability to manage multiple deadlines and decisions.
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record, as travel to various locations is required.
- Hands-on experience with Windows PC hardware and operating systems.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience using an electronic ticketing system for tracking support requests.
- Familiarity with remote administration tools and scripting languages.
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to write for publication in a prescribed style and format.
- Effective presentation skills for management, public groups, and team members.
- Experience with computer hardware and software applications is highly preferred.
