Job Overview :

A Clifton, NJ-based law firm is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney through a legal recruitment partner. This role involves hands-on legal representation for both corporate and individual immigration clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a structured yet strategic mindset, and a commitment to delivering precise and professional legal support in a collaborative in-office setting. Turkish language fluency and prior experience in business immigration are advantageous.

Duties :

  • Represent companies and individuals in a broad range of immigration matters
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs, memoranda, and other documents
  • Guide clients through the full lifecycle of immigration applications and proceedings
  • Collaborate with internal team members to coordinate client case strategies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving immigration laws and procedures
  • Draft and review legal submissions with clarity, accuracy, and persuasive reasoning
  • Support organizational workflow and contribute to best practice improvements

Requirements :

  • Active license to practice law in the United States
  • Member in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar
  • Previous experience handling immigration matters, with a preference for business immigration
  • High level of professionalism and ability to manage sensitive legal matters

    • Education :

    Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree from an accredited institution

    Certifications :

  • Admission to the NJ State Bar
  • Additional language certification (Turkish) is preferred

    • Skills :

  • Clear and confident verbal communication
  • Exceptional writing and document drafting ability
  • Strong organizational capabilities and attention to legal detail
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to evaluate both granular and broad legal issues
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and adaptability to legal tech platforms
