Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a per diem, experienced, board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its well-established practice in covering Tampa, Plant City and the surrounding areas.

This position will primarily cover the NICU at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, with the opportunity to rotate through the 76-bed Level-IV NICU at St Joseph Women's Hospital in Tampa

The group provides 24 hour in-house delivery room and newborn coverage at hospitals within the Baycare System

The neonatologists provide a combination of in-house and back-up call from home with either a Neo or NNP providing night coverage

A combination of neonatologists and pediatricians provide normal newborn coverage at the hospitals

The team consists of 16 neonatologists, 5 neonatal hospitalists and 14 NNPs who provide care to patients in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties

Qualifications

Current APRN national specialty certification

Minimum of a master’s degree

FL license required

Recent NNP experience required
