Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of trauma center experience for bi-campus coverage at a Level I Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care hospital with coverage at two campuses in the Interventional Radiology department
  • Adult patient population in a tertiary care, Level I Trauma Center setting
  • Day shifts offered as 4x10s with alternating 7 : 30am-6 : 00pm and 9 : 30am-8 : 00pm, or two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts
  • No on-call or weekend requirements
  • Charting with Epic system; Epic experience preferred
  • Floating required between York Street and Saint Raphael campuses
  • First-time travelers are not accepted
  • Return staff must be gone for at least 2 years for consideration
  • Scrubs in misty green (OR scrubs) are provided
  • Flu vaccine is required and declinations are not accepted
  • COVID-19 vaccine and booster required unless religious or medical exemption is approved
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off can be auto-approved; requests above 7 days need approval
  • Mandatory completion of pre-start modules (approximately 1 hour for allied health)
  • Bi-campus coverage and floating within scope required

    • Requirements

  • ARRT(R) certification and BLS required
  • At least 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience in a trauma center environment
  • Trauma center experience at a large facility required
  • Pending CT license accepted if active prior to start date; license required if applicable
  • 1 professional reference required
  • Applicants must live at least 75 miles from the facility
