Territory Manager
Join the sales team at G&W Equipment! We're looking for a driven and competitive sales professional to join our team as a Territory Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing new business and driving equipment sales in the greater Raleigh area. You'll work directly with customers across a variety of industries, helping them find the right material handling solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prospect and develop new business within your assigned territory
- Sell new and used industrial equipment from the G&W Equipment portfolio
- Build strong relationships with customers and support their capital equipment purchasing decisions
- Partner with internal departments to ensure a smooth sales and delivery process
- Analyze your territory and identify opportunities to increase market share
- Work with your Regional Sales Manager on territory planning and account strategy
- Develop business plans tailored to key customers to drive both customer satisfaction and profitability
- Stay engaged with customers through consistent communication and follow-up
What You Bring
Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in material handling, construction, or a related B2B industryProven success in developing and managing a sales territoryStrong communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsUnderstanding of basic financial principles and marginsPersistent and self-motivated, with a high sense of urgencyComfortable with cold calling and prospecting via phone, email, and in-person visitsProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and familiar with CRM systemsWhat We Offer
