Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Mill and Lathe Operator II to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in our manufacturing process, responsible for setting up and operating a variety of CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Machine Operation & Setup : Set up and operate a variety of CNC mills and lathes. Install and align tooling, fixtures, and attachments, and fine-tune machine settings for optimal performance and precision.
  • Quality Control : Produce parts with high quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet tight tolerances and specifications. You'll perform inspections on in-process and finished parts using tools like calipers, micrometers, and gages.
  • Programming & Troubleshooting : Read and edit G-code and troubleshoot machining or design issues by communicating with programmers and designers. You'll also work from blueprints and complex technical drawings.
  • Maintenance & Documentation : Perform routine machine maintenance, including maintaining coolant and lubrication levels. You will also be responsible for completing documentation for first-article inspections and entering production data into our JobBoss software.
  • Safety : Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC milling machines.
  • 1-2 years of experience operating CNC lathe machines.
  • Proficiency in reading and editing G-code and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience with Fanuc controls is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • A strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality are a must.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Comfortable working in a typical shop environment with exposure to noise, coolant, dust, and metal shavings.
