job_description.job_card.job_descriptionOperate late model trucks from Penske Truck Leasing Experience exceptional comfort with best-in-class specifications Deliver palletized groceries to local stores Home every day Multiple schedule options available Evening start times Paid vacation and holidays from day one Generous retirement plans Excellent health coverage—medical, dental, and vision Short and long-term disability; life and AD&D insurance Provided uniforms and safety footwear Employee discount programs Driver referral bonuses up to $5,000 per referral Safety incentive programs Premier Driver Recognition Program Must possess a valid CDL Class A Current or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, or 2 years of experience within the last 5 years No more than two moving violations or accidents in the last 3 years Compliance with all federal and state regulations Consistent and reliable attendance is crucial Willingness to adhere to the required schedule and complete the Penske employment application, along with a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug testing This role may require adherence to safety regulations as determined by the Department of Transportation Must be capable of seeing and hearing; specific visual abilities include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting required Regularly lift and / or move up to 50lbs (23kg) and occasionally lift / move up to 100lbs (45kg) Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and enter / exit vehicles and cargo areas safely
