Staff Machine Learning Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Foundational Models.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the technical direction of the team on leveraging foundational models and related techniques

Design and implement offboard pipelines to train, distill, evaluate, and serve Machine Learning Models

Proactively identify opportunities for improvements and collaborate with leadership on prioritization

Qualifications

BS (6 years of experience), MS (5 years of experience), or PhD (3 years of experience) in developing machine learning models or systems

Track record of driving projects from conception to productization

Experience with foundational models such as pre-training models and RL based fine-tuning

Experience in processing large datasets and training ML models in distributed environments

Strong experience in Python and at least one popular Deep Learning framework like Pytorch or Tensorflow
