Job Description :
Responsibilities of the Platform Infrastructure Engineer :
- Architect and manage Kubernetes-based platforms supporting real-time, distributed microservices.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (installation, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting).
- Proficiency in PaaS technologies (e.g., OpenShift, Cloud Foundry, or cloud-native PaaS services).
- Build scalable, resilient infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools.
- Collaborate with software teams to deploy and optimize Python-based microservices.
- Implement robust monitoring and observability using New Relic, DataDog, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, etc.
- Make strategic decisions on cloud-native vs. self-hosted deployments across AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
- Design and troubleshoot networking (VPNs, NLB / ALBs, TLS, HTTPS, CDN).
- Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Engineer high-performance APIs, databases, caching systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Apply cloud security best practices and optimize for cost-efficiency.
- Manage identity and access control using Auth0 or Okta.
- Use Git / GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
Responsibilities of the Platform Infrastructure Engineer :
8+ years in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.Deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud architecture, and automation.Strong proficiency in Python, Terraform, and Unix / Linux systems.Experience with cloud security, networking, and CI / CD pipelines.Ability to work independently and drive projects from concept to deployment.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
