American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehab position requiring at least one year of experience and Cerner charting proficiency.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an inpatient rehabilitation unit with floating required between rehab and acute settingsDay shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM, with every other weekend rotated and flex time offNo on-call required; all shifts are scheduledPatient charting is done in Cerner, and Cerner experience is requiredMust live at least 50 miles away from the facilityResponsibilities include providing occupational therapy to diverse patient populations in both rehab and acute hospital settingsGrey scrubs are requiredHoliday work is optional, but flexibility to work one of three holidays if RTO overlaps preferredTeam members must maintain professional conduct at all times, as this is a sensitive assignment with strict behavioral standardsTravelers must have been away from the facility for at least three years before returningModules for orientation are self-reported and must be completed before assignment startLocals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible\n \n Requirements\n
Valid state OT license required by start date (pending license accepted, but must have license in hand; temporary licensure not accepted)Minimum of 1 year of relevant hospital experience requiredExperience in inpatient rehab and acute care settings preferredCerner charting experience requiredFirst-time travelers accepted if they have prior hospital experienceUp to 8 hours of pre-start orientation modules must be completed within the first week\n Benefits\n
