Programs & Partnerships Manager

Homeboy Industries provides hope, training, and support to formerly gang-involved and recently incarcerated people, allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Career Pathways, the Programs & Partnerships Manager will create, maintain, and grow partnerships with employers, trade unions, post-secondary institutions, workforce development agencies, and other organizations that lead to high-quality career opportunities. By facilitating upward mobility both within and beyond Homeboy's non-profit and social enterprise structures, this Career Pathways Manager will provide bridges for all Homeboy clients that lead from Incarceration to Emancipation.

Key duties include :

• Supervise a team responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with employers, workforce development agencies, and training partners that lead to high-quality career opportunities for all Homeboy clients.
• Manage grant-funded workforce development and training programs, including implementation, data collection and analysis, fiscal monitoring, reporting, and other compliance-related activities.
• Collaborate with Homeboy's Social Enterprises and Education Team to create pathways within and beyond the organization that lead to high-quality careers.
• Develop and maintain existing and new career pathways by establishing and growing relationships with external partners.
• Create and sustain a robust portfolio of internships and lead the Workforce Development Team in successfully connecting trainees to these opportunities.
• Maintain an active calendar of training opportunities throughout the greater Los Angeles area and lead the Workforce Development Team in successfully connecting trainees to these opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation

This is a full-time position with a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, Life AD&D, and retirement account. $30-$33 an hour
