Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Huntsville, AL Flexible Weekday Hours

Come join our compassionate, collaborative outpatient clinic team delivering behavioral health services to pediatric patients. You'll work closely with medical providers to support whole-person care and help improve outcomes for children and families. This primarily on-site role includes occasional travel between nearby clinic locations keeping your work both meaningful and varied.

Full-time & Part Time Schedules Available - Clinic Hours M - Th, 8 - 5 & Fri 8 - noon

Qualifications :

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution

Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Alabama

Proficiency with EHR systems and documentation

Your Responsibilities will Include :

Direct Patient Care

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments & develop individualized care plans

Provide short-term, solution-focused counseling and behavioral interventions

Deliver crisis intervention and safety planning as needed

Support patients with chronic disease management through behavioral health strategies

Facilitate referrals to community resources, mental health services, housing, or substance use treatment

Care Coordination & Provider Support

Work closely with primary care providers, nursing staff, and case managers to coordinate patient care

Serve as a liaison between patients and external support agencies

Participate in daily huddles, case conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings

Assist providers in identifying behavioral health concerns and social determinants of health impacting treatment adherence

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain timely and accurate electronic health record (EHR), Athena, documentation in compliance with FQHC and state / federal regulations

Ensure HIPAA compliance and ethical standards in all interactions

Program Development (Optional / Future Growth)

Contribute to program planning and quality improvement initiatives related to behavioral health integration

Assist in staff training related to trauma-informed care and social services
