The Quality Control Test & Sample Automation Lead plays a key role in ensuring consistency and calibration of Consumer Investment Operations and Life Services Quality Control sample identification and automation. To be successful in this role, the QC Lead must maintain knowledge of the Consumer Investments Operations business structure, processes and knowledge of industry regulations, Merrill internal policies and procedures. The Quality Control Test & Sample Automation Lead is responsible for driving the development, maintenance, quality assessment and sample execution of tests, including implementing and driving the data acquisition strategy for the Testing Control and Sampling Environment and overseeing the development and maintenance of the sample and test automation. Job expectations include ensuring consistent quality of activities, processes, and outputs by establishing effective review practices.

Accountable for design, analysis, execution and / or ongoing sustainment support for a program initiative within the enterprise strategy and performance goals for one of the Customer Segments (i.e. Retail, Preferred & Small Business). Provides support to senior team leader and partners with product(s) and channel(s) teams to drive execution and integrate delivery to ensure the customer view is at the forefront of decisions in the achievement of goals. Accountable for initiative support, coordination, robust analysis and communications.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain test sample automation and delivery for execution
  • Ensure appropriate sampling, distribution, completion, calibration, and reporting related to data capture and sample automation, in alignment to test script build and test plan development
  • Leverage automation to develop & improve test functionality and sample delivery
  • Support developing and updating of routines, strategies, and operational guidelines for overall use by the QC Program
  • Define data acquisition strategy and sampling environment, obtain requirements to design efficient and comprehensive tests, and maintain quality standards throughout the sampling and testing process
  • Consistently meet development deadlines while working independently – Time Management
  • Engage Segment Managers, Process Owners and Performance Managers to support Script Development and obtain approvals

Required Qualifications

    US - MD - Hunt Valley - 11333 MCCORMICK RD - HUNT VALLEY (MD5031), US - NJ - Pennington - 1400 American Blvd - Hopewell Bldg 4 (NJ2140), US - RI - Lincoln - 670 George Washington Hwy (RI1541)

    Pay range $73,200.00 - $116,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and / or group; and the overall success of the Company.
