• Creates a classroom environment that cultivates learning, engages the interests of the students, and allows them to perform at their very best.   Utilizes academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics and assessments aligned to Athlos’ 3 foundational pillars of a Prepared Mind ,   Healthy Body , and   Performance Character .   Plans, prepares, and delivers instruction that engages students and ensures student growth and achievement in accordance with grade level standards.   Uses data to inform instructional decisions including summative and interim assessments and daily formative assessments.
• Differentiates instruction based on individual needs, learning style, and abilities.   Classroom and School Culture Communicates a deep belief that all students can learn, and belong, in the c lassroom.   Consistently implements school-wide management policies .   Creates a positive learning environment by developing classroom rules, systems, and procedures .

• Tracks student attendance, behavioral issues, and classroom events.   Participates in regular school-wide and individual professional development including professional learning communities.   Pursues ambitious professional development goals and student learning targets.
