$132,900.00 / yr - $174,450.00 / yr

This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates regardless of exact location.

Job Overview

We're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with a focus on advanced manufacturing and data center site development. You'll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks and work closely with a highly multidisciplinary team to conceptualize initial civil design for land / site development, prepare grading plans, and perform earthwork and drainage / stormwater calculations.

Key Contributions

• Site development, site master planning and site selection
• Underground utility routing and site space planning
• Hydrology analysis for storm drain systems
• Design of gravitational wastewater systems
• Final grading plans including cut-and-fill analysis and earthwork balancing
• Erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans
• Compliance with local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements
• Stormwater analysis and modeling in software such as StormCAD, CivilStorm, and Civil 3D
