Key job responsibilities
This position will work a 4x10 schedule, possible shifts : Back-Half
(Wed-Sat), Day (0600-1630) or Night (1700-0330)
guide a team of Test Technicians by planning, assigning and
executing daily tasks, and assisting with new member onboarding and
training
repair and troubleshooting of Kuiper phased array antennas and
other critical assemblies
safety standards for both product and personnel
daily reports on Integration phased array antenna builds
multimeters, optical inspection devices, micrometers and calipers
technical documentation
procedures, specifications, and test instructions, some of which
may be ambiguous or incomplete in nature
software programs for conducting tests
inspect your work, as well as others, after completion to ensure
engineering and quality standards are met per the drawing and work
instruction requirements
manufacturing, design and test engineers to develop, document and
complete activities, including continuous improvement opportunities

day in the life
The Lead Test Technician is responsible
for guiding a team of test technicians to test and troubleshoot
critical spaceflight systems for the Kuiper satellite. This team
will work closely with cross-functional engineering, test, quality
and operations teams to deliver Kuiper production hardware at the
final integration and testing level, prior to launch. This position
requires skill and experience in a variety of areas, including PCBA
testing and handling, mechanical assembly, avionics integration,
electrical checkouts and environmental testing. You will be
responsible for ensuring critical tasks to test Kuiper satellites
are performed with high quality, high workmanship and safety
standards, and on time.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US
geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from
$63,400 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $104,600 / year in
our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors
including market location and may vary depending on job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation
