Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a VT or compact RN license and certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
  • Treats a variety of emergency medical cases in a critical access hospital
  • Facilities are 25-bed critical access hospital
  • Traditional (non-block) scheduling required
  • All time off requests must be submitted with application and cannot exceed five days
  • Provides high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced, critical access environment
  • All references, licenses, and certifications must be submitted with the profile for consideration
  • Holiday coverage may be required as part of the scheduling
  • Personal and professional information must be included on profile for consideration
  • Requirements

  • Active VT or compact RN license in hand
  • Certifications required : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC, all must be current and submitted at time of application
  • Minimum of 2 years current ED experience in a hospital required
  • Minimum of 3 months travel experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must have own vehicle
  • One supervisory reference from past two years required
  • Complete skills checklist current within one year
