Essential Job Functions

• Engineering of assigned area of glass fabrication
• Manage process effectiveness related to cut, grind and paint operations.
• Partner with Operations and Maintenance to troubleshoot line operations
• Issue and revise drawings, job aids and process sheets to drive continuous process improvement.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to drive increases in throughput and yield
• Verify conformance of components to customer specifications
• Analyse weekly production results, identify deficiencies and implement the necessary improvements
• Work with Operators and Specialists to reduce defects, increase throughput and improve the products' dimensional capability
• Partner with Supervision and Specialists to train operators how to safely and effectively operate plant equipment and machinery
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Value Stream Manager
