DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Social Services Aide 1, you will receive requests from caseworkers to initiate visitation or reunification services. Work begins with contacting all parties involved in the case to establish a suitable time, place, and length of child and family visit. You will have the opportunity to work with families on goal setting, budgeting, home safety and housekeeping, health and wellness, and time management. Ensuring children are living in a safe environment is our number one goal. Following family interactions, you will be expected to accurately complete contact reports.
