Skillforce is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator for a full-time / direct hire role with our client. This is the perfect opportunity to join one of the industry leaders in caulking and waterproofing.

Location : Orlando, FL area

Salary Range : $70,000 annually (with bonus opportunities)

Whether you are a new graduate with a construction degree or have established experience in the construction industry, we are open to all levels of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Generate accurate, competitive cost estimates using Stack estimating software.
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and requirements.
  • Lead and manage projects independently from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Analyze labor, materials, and timelines to create cost-effective bids.
  • Identify project risks early and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Stay current on industry standards, pricing trends, and material / labor costs.

Qualifications

  • Mechanically inclined new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Interest in commercial construction estimating (waterproofing, caulking, roofing, protective coatings).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and construction drawings.
  • Experience with estimating software (Stack) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
