Managing Business Consultant SAP S / 4HANA – SAP Central Finance

Remote position with occasional travel during project milestones.

Overview

Client is seeking a Managing Business Consultant with extensive SAP S / 4HANA Central Finance experience to lead and support a complex SAP ECC to S / 4HANA transformation. This role involves functional and technical consulting, configuration, data migration, testing, training, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities :

Lead workshops to define AS-IS and TO-BE processes aligned with finance operations and overall business strategy.

Configure and customize SAP S / 4HANA Central Finance functionalities, including universal journal, consolidation, and reporting.

Provide expert support during configuration, data migration, testing, training, and cutover.

Oversee integration of Central Finance with modules like Order to Cash, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Manage data migration from SAP ECC and non-SAP systems using SLT and Selective Data / Bluefield Migration methods.

Collaborate with data teams for data extraction, transformation, and loading into SAP S / 4HANA.

Conduct system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.

Train end-users and support post-go-live activities.

Develop financial reports and dashboards using SAP embedded analytics.

Act as the key contact for business and IT stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring alignment with project goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).

Minimum 10 years of SAP consulting experience, including SAP S / 4HANA Central Finance.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, ledger management, asset accounting, and core FI / CO processes.

Proficient in configuring and managing SAP SLT for accurate data transfer.

Strong analytical skills to assess business data, identify issues, and implement SAP best practice solutions.

Experience in S / 4HANA transformation projects including configuration, migration, integration, and stakeholder management.
