Financial Patient Account Assistant

A company is looking for a Financial Patient Accounts Assistant to assist guarantors in resolving billing issues.

Key Responsibilities

Assist guarantors in resolving billing issues and determining acceptable payment options

Follow up on accounts until resolution in accordance with policies and compliance guidelines

Handle bankruptcy adjustments and communicate with government agencies and third-party entities

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in business or a healthcare-related program preferred

Two years of relevant healthcare or collection experience preferred

Knowledge of billing and collection principles and applicable laws in healthcare collections preferred

Experience with Microsoft Office applications and healthcare systems preferred

Minimum of two years' experience in a hospital or clinic billing environment preferred
