Tube Specialties, Inc. in Tempe, Arizona is a small business that specializes in precision tube fabrication for the Aircraft / Aerospace and Defense industries. We are seeking experienced and highly skilled people. Founded in 1973, TSI is dedicated to delivering high-quality, intricate assemblies, including complex manifolds, bent assemblies, and critical components for fighter jets and anti-ballistic missiles. Position Summary :

Employees will be responsible for the precision machining, fabrication, and maintenance of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the production of complex tube assemblies. These roles are crucial in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes, directly contributing to our ability to produce game-changing technologies and hardware for our demanding clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, repair and maintain a variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges with high precision
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate a wide range of machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and presses to fabricate components
• Perform precision measurements using various inspection tools to ensure conformity to specifications
• Troubleshoot and diagnose tooling issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling designs for manufacturing and efficiency
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the tooling department
