Job Description
This role owns responsibility for generating new revenue by engaging early with the right stakeholders and developing commercial relationships.
We are seeking a hunter who is passionate about building the pipeline, takes pride in running sharp, high quality discovery engagements with prospects, and can shape solution-led deals that blend software and services across multiple sectors.
You know how to get in the room with senior stakeholders (we prioritize live conversations email supports momentum, it doesnt replace it), can simplify complex business challenges, develop customized propositions, and advance opportunities with multiple influencers and buyers within target customer prospects, to close. You know that you need to be connected to multiple stakeholders and mitigate any risk of over-reliance on a single contact.
You can expect high autonomy with clear outcomesown your territory, partner tightly with Marketing on inbound, prospect proactively, and keep a clean forecast and CRM.
The purpose : We are building a revenue generation engine and are keen to work with people who will help us on that journey. This means that you will be passionate and focused on landing new customers fast, maximizing repeat business and pro-actively look for upsell and cross sell opportunities.

Main Responsibilities
Hunt : Build pipeline via targeted outreach, events, partner referrals, social. Call + in-person first; Email supports never substitutes.
Qualify & Discover : Lead rigorous discovery (customer drivers, constraints, stakeholders, metrics). Map buying processes and success criteria.
Improve Solutions : Co-develop options with Solution Architects / Delivery; package software, services, commercials, and success plans.
Advance & Close : Orchestrate senior meetings, run evaluations / POCs, build business cases, negotiate, and close.
Land & expand : Own the customer relationship from prospecting to go-live oversight; drive referrals, upsell and repeat business.
Operate with discipline : Territory plan (run it like you own it.), accurate forecast, CRM hygiene; tight feedback loop with Marketing on inbound quality
Revenue generation : Hit (or beat) quarterly and annual revenue targets
Person Specification
Commercially sharp , curious, and comfortable with complex propositions
Confident on the phone and in the room (not just email)
Disciplined with your week, CRM, and forecast
Experienced (3+ years) selling complex solutions, beating targets
Experience Required
3+ years of new-business sales in complex solutions (software + services or similar)
Evidenced target attainment and new-customer wins (be ready with numbers and references)
Strong in person and phone presence ; comfortable with senior decision-makers and multiple stakeholders involved in a decision-making process.
Familiar and experienced at working with sales methods (eg BANT we are method-agnostic; quality of sales execution and output matters most to us)
Demonstrable CRM discipline (relationship maps, notes, pipeline hygiene) and solid commercial math
Desirable experience
Sold into two or more of these sectors : biotech and life sciences, public sector, renewable energy, oil and gas, corporate / historical archives.
Experience shaping pilots / POCs and success plans
Comfort with light presales (configuring and running software demos, developing customized solution options) before specialist handoff
Metrics we track (and coach)
Weekly : new meetings set / held, discovery quality, stage progression, next-step hygiene
Monthly : pipeline coverage (34), MQL and SQO conversion, proposal-to-close rate
Quarterly : new customers, All revenue over the term, Recurring revenue generated over the term, software / services mix, forecast accuracy
