Client is hiring a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of close processes, reporting, investor distributions, and financial strategy across multiple entities.
This role offers direct exposure to senior leadership, oversight of a staff accountant, and the opportunity to influence both operational and financial outcomes in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Role Highlights
Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Prepare accurate financial statements and journal entries (FF&E, reserves, payroll, etc.)
Reconcile intercompany balances and ensure alignment with loan / operating agreements
Forecast and manage cash to support quarterly investor distributions
Support capital planning, construction accounting, and budgeting processes
Partner with Operations and Executive teams to provide strategic financial insights
Contribute to investor communications and financial analysis projects
Mentor junior staff and support training
Promote professional development and best practices within the accounting team
What We're Looking For
Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required); CPA or Master's (strongly preferred)
Experience :
5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Background in public accounting or a public / private mix Experience in hospitality or real estate
Technical Skills :
Familiarity with accounting software
Proficiency with Excel and standard accounting tools
Soft Skills :
Confident communicator with a collaborative, proactive approach
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Comfortable engaging with senior executives
Curious, adaptable, and eager to contribute process improvements
