Senior Medical Assistant w / Limited X-ray License - Carson

Under the direct medical supervision of a physician, the MA with Limited X-ray License implements delegated aspects of care and assists in both direct and indirect patient care and routine diagnostic radiographic services.

Required Qualifications :

Within 30 days of hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

2 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.

2 years Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.

6 months Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications :

California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician Certification.

Coursework / Training Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with an externship (Applied learning). Or

Coursework / Training Has completed medical training in the United States Armed Forces. Or

Coursework / Training Has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic environment for at least six months. Or

Upon hire : National Medical Assistant Certification.
