Responsibilities

Glen Oaks Hospital is a 54-bed private mental health hospital in a relaxed setting in Greenville, Texas. Our comfortable, homelike atmosphere is conducive to healing for the adults and seniors we treat. Our greatest asset is the staff, comprised of psychiatrists, professional nurses, social workers and therapists. For over 30 years, Glen Oaks Hospital has been a leader in the field of mental health and chemical dependency care, and our staff is dedicated to researching the latest treatment approaches and applying this to our overall treatment philosophy.

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the clinical practice of nursing which includes directing all services provided by the Nursing Department. As a member of senior management this position ensures the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent with the facility's goals and objectives, and actively participates in a leadership role by consulting with facility management in designing and providing total patient care and services.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing; Master's Degree in psychiatric

nursing or related field preferred.

Experience : A minimum of five (5) years experience in nursing administration and / or dedicated

leadership experience in psychiatric nursing highly preferred.

Licensure : Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas.

Additional Requirements : A thorough knowledge of JCAHO, Medicare, OSHA regulations and all other

state and federal regulatory standards.
