Forte currently has three distinct product lines : a precast concrete block retaining system (Recon Wall Systems), a precast concrete light pole base system (LPB), and a precast concrete foundation for electric vehicle chargers (EV Blocks).
Position Overview
The Precast Forte Group is seeking a hands-on, versatile team member to support both our warehouse and production operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in building and organizing, and wants to be involved in everything from mold-making and welding to palletizing shipments and managing warehouse inventory.
In the initial phase, this role will lead the setup of our new light manufacturing and fabrication area — helping establish equipment, layout, and workflow for urethane casting and small-part production. Long-term, the position includes a mix of production work, urethane casting, warehouse and logistics operations, and custom fabrication.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable welding or pouring urethane as they are organizing shelves, packing shipments, and helping track inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and layout of a new fabrication and light manufacturing space, including equipment organization and basic workflow planning.
- Palletize and prepare product orders and accessories for outbound shipment — this is a core and ongoing part of the role .
- Maintain inventory, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Receive inbound shipments and materials and restock appropriately.
- Pour urethane liners and other urethane-based products using company molds and processes.
- Build or assist in building new molds for urethane casting based on models, specs, or prototypes.
- Cut steel plates and components for final product integration (basic welding and grinding included)
- Assist in fabrication of models, displays, and demo pieces for tradeshows and internal use.
- Participate in the R&D process and assist in developing new products, tools, or shop solutions.
- Clean, inspect, and maintain rental forms from our form fleet.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and material stock in a safe and efficient manner.
Required Qualifications
Comfortable working in a shop / warehouse environment with hands-on tools and equipment.Hands-on fabrication or construction experience required (metal, wood, or plastics).Comfortable shifting between custom fabrication and repetitive tasks like packing and palletizing.Experience using basic hand tools, saws, grinders, etc.Ability to lift and move materials regularly (up to 50 lbs).Dependable, self-directed, and eager to learn.Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship — whether building or packing.Willingness to support a wide range of tasks, from custom shop work to routine shipping duties.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in mold-making, casting, welding, or light machining.Experience in warehouse logistics, inventory tracking, or shipping / receiving.Exposure to urethane, composite materials, or specialty casting.Experience helping set up or organize shop / fabrication spaces.Familiarity with safe material handling and shop organization practices.
