Specialty Surgery Center is a freestanding outpatient surgical facility in San Antonio, Texas. Our surgeons specialize in ophthalmology and oral surgery. We believe in compassionate medicine, where our focus is on each individual patient. Our experienced surgeons have dedicated themselves to caring for patients within the surrounding communities.

We are currently searching for a Full Time Operating Room Registered Nurse to work Monday - Friday who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibility will be circulating in the Operating Room. A strong background in ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and dental operating room in an ambulatory surgery center experience is preferred.

Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills; be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse; maintain basic cardiac life support, ACLS, and PALS certification; must be positive and energetic, a strong team player, and excellent communicator; be able to prioritize multiple tasks; be able to work in a fast paced environment; and have strong decision making skills.
