Food Operations Manager 1

Role Overview :

Sodexo  is seeking a  Food Operations Manager 1 to oversee the food service operations at the  Warren Wilson College located in  Swannanoa, NC. Warren Wilson is a small private college near Asheville, North Carolina.  We have 700 students on campus.  We have an all you can eat Dining hall with a vegetarian cafe as part of the offering.  We also have a small coffee shop and moderate catering on campus.  Warren Wilson College is a work college so we supervise 50 to 70 students as part of the work program. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. What You'll Do :

• have oversight of day-to-day operations;
• deliver high quality food service;
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
• develop strategic plans;
• create a positive environment; and
• ensure Sodexo standards are met.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
