job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCreate a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks. Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested. Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target. Execute daily tasks assigned by leadership to support goals aligned with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas. Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified. Execute processes such as changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed. Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability. Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services available in the total store, and in your area, to solve issues and improve guest experience. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance. Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking and packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while complying with applicable laws and regulations. All other duties based on business needs. Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members. Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate scanners and other technology as directed. Ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes. Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes. Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Climb ladders when required. Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance. Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance. Capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions; exposure to elements while performing duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout). Stay mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
