L&D RN Supervisor Schedule – Day Shift
- Full-time, 4x10s (40 hours / week)
- Flexible start and end times
- Some weekend coverage may be required
- Day shift differential may apply (based on schedule)
L&D RN Supervisor Responsibilities
Provide leadership oversight to a team of 9–10 nurses and OB techsGuide staff performance, development, and shift operationsSupport process improvement and implementation of best practicesOversee ongoing staff education and performance evaluationsProvide corrective action when needed, in collaboration with leadershipStep in on the floor during busy shifts — this is a roll-up-your-sleeves leadership roleCommunicate effectively across diverse personalities and experience levelsCollaborate closely with the Charge Nurse, Chief Nursing Officer, and DirectorServe on hospital committees, contribute to policy development, and mentor new hiresParticipate in quality initiatives and uphold JCAHO standardsL&D RN Supervisor Requirements
Active California RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)Graduation from an accredited school of nursingMinimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience in Labor & DeliveryMinimum of 1 year of leadership or charge experience requiredConfident communicator with strong clinical judgment and coaching abilityL&D RN Supervisor Compensation
Base hourly : $76.41 – $104.36 (based on education and experience)Degree differential pay : $1.20 / hr for BSN, $2.40 / hr for MSNNight differential : $3.00 / hr (2 : 45 PM–12 : 45 AM)Late Night differential : $4.50 / hr (10 : 45 PM–7 : 00 AM)Weekend differential : $1.25 / hrRelocation assistance : Up to $10,000 (based on resume address)Sign-on bonus : $20,000Federal loan forgiveness eligible siteL&D RN Supervisor Benefits
