Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. The Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of employee benefits accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and providing strategic guidance to clients in the development and management of their employee benefits programs.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of employee benefits accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular communication and strategic guidance.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored recommendations for employee benefits programs.
Lead the renewal process for client accounts, including preparing and delivering presentations, negotiating terms, and finalizing contracts.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to proactively identify opportunities for client program enhancements.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing management of client benefits programs.
Act as a subject matter expert on employee benefits, providing guidance and support to clients and internal colleagues.

Qualifications / Requirements

Previous group benefits experience is required.

Previous independent agency experience is preferred.

Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license.

Proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of client accounts and driving client satisfaction and retention.

Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Proficiency in account management software and Microsoft Office suite.
