We turn enterprise data into real-time decisions using advanced machine learning and GenAI. Our team solves hard engineering problems at scale, with real-world industry impact. We're hiring passionate builders to shape the future of industrial intelligence.

Position Summary :

We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Architect to join our growing Data & Analytics team. In this pivotal role, you will be helping us architect of enterprise-wide business intelligence, reporting, and analytics landscape. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and owning the end-to-end data architecture that transforms raw data (e.g., connected car data, supply chain, dealer performance, manufacturing telemetry) into actionable, reliable insights for stakeholders across the company.

Crucially, this role requires deep, mandatory experience within the automotive industry. You will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, understanding their unique challenges (e.g., VIN-based reporting, warranty claims, fleet management, parts inventory) and architecting scalable, high-performance solutions that empower them to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • BI Strategy & Architecture Design :

Lead the design and implementation of a scalable, secure, and modern end-to-end BI architecture, specifically tailored to handle large volumes of automotive data (e.g., IoT data streams, historical vehicle performance).

  • Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for our BI and analytics platforms, translating complex business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and solution blueprints.
  • Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and development guidelines.
  • Data Modelling & Warehousing :
  • Design and implement robust, scalable dimensional and relational data models for the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and departmental data marts, incorporating automotive-specific data entities (e.g., vehicle master data, telematics logs, sales contracts).

  • Architect and oversee the development of ETL / ELT pipelines to integrate data from disparate automotive sources (e.g., SAP / ERP systems, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), manufacturing execution systems, connected vehicle APIs).
  • Analytics & Visualization Enablement :
  • Design and develop the semantic layer for BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to provide a single source of truth for automotive KPIs (e.g., sales rate, dealer profitability, warranty cost per unit).

  • Optimize query performance and data structures to support complex analytics, such as predictive maintenance or demand forecasting.
  • Leadership & Collaboration :
  • Serve as the senior technical lead and mentor for BI developers and data engineers.

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders (e.g., Manufacturing, Aftermarket, Sales / Marketing) to define project scope and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Champion data literacy and best practices in data consumption across the organization.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MANDATORY : 7+ years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1 Supplier, or large dealership group) specifically focused on BI, data warehousing, or analytics architecture.
  • MANDATORY : Deep familiarity with key automotive data domains and common data sources (e.g., Connected Car / IoT data ingestion, VIN decoding / master data, warranty and service data, dealer sales and inventory).
  • 12+ years of overall experience in the data and analytics field, with at least 8 years in a BI architecture or solutions architect role.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL and experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data warehouses.
  • In-depth knowledge of data modelling methodologies (e.g., Kimball, Inmon) and experience with modern ETL / ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Matillion, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue).
  • Extensive experience architecting solutions with leading BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Alteryx).
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse Analytics).
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python for data manipulation and automation.
  • Familiarity with DataOps / DevOps principles and CI / CD pipelines in a data context.
  • Experience analyzing telematics and IoT data streams from vehicles.
  • Relevant cloud or industry-specific data certifications.
