Job Description : Position Summary :
This position provides training and instruction for adult learners in open enrollment and contract training situations. It requires expertise in advanced manufacturing topics and involves developing and delivering non-credit curriculum.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide instruction in Manufacturing Technology as assigned.
- Participate in training for industry certification courses.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with Workforce Development personnel.
- Apply appropriate technology standards for delivery and student engagement.
- Align curricular outcomes with instruction and assessment.
- Review and proofread teaching documents.
- Stay updated with current industry developments.
- Maintain program records and retrieval systems.
- Provide technical expertise and improvement recommendations.
- Assist in curriculum analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Participate in Workforce Development team meetings.
- Comply with FERPA, FCC policies, and procedures.
- Perform other relevant duties.
Minimum Qualifications :
Associate of Applied Science in advanced manufacturing technology with two years of industry experience, orFive years of relevant industry experience, orBachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field.Desired Qualifications :
Industry-specific certifications.Knowledge of NC3 manufacturing certifications.Expertise in Advanced Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical Systems, Fluid Power, Pneumatics, PLC, and Robotics.Experience with computers and production technologies.Two years of adult training experience.Excellent communication skills.Familiarity with PeopleSoft and Blackboard.Experience in higher education.Knowledge of current educational practices.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Understanding of cultural diversity and inclusive practices.Additional Information :
