HIRING A TECHNOLOGY DESIGN INTERN IN HOUSTON

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gain exposure and understanding of engineering and technology consultation process and best practices
  • Receive training and practice building technology system engineering design and modelling from start to finish
  • Visit the project site to observe technology system installation in action and progress
  • Join in corporate led internship activities, which may include team building, educational, professional development, and mentorship opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Have strong interest in building technology systems (Smart Building Technology, Digital Audio and Visual Systems, Electronic Security and Safety (ESS - includes Video Surveillance, Electronic Access Control, Intrusion Detection), Wireless Networks (Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), LAN / WAN, Remote Robotics), ICT Network Structured Cabling and Infrastructure) and plan for a career in this field these diverse yet interconnected and constantly changing disciplines
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Show a willingness to learn and ask questions
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • SKILLS

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Familiar with AutoCAD / Revit
  • Ability to communicate and work with others as part of a project team
