Associate Laboratory Assistant [3 Days Left]

Description

Associate Laboratory Assistant at St. Joseph Hospital, Eureka CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 10-hour, Variable shifts.

Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and the Director of Laboratory Services, the Clinical Lab Assistant I performs routine non-technical, manual, and a moderate amount of technical work in the medical laboratory. Maintains laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Carries out related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications :

H.S. Diploma or GED

Upon hire : California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License, or

Upon hire : California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License

Preferred Qualifications :

• Laboratory, medical office or hospital experience.
