Position Overview :

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Operating Room RN for a 90-bed community hospital in Auburn, NY . This OR unit is heavy in orthopedic cases and uses Olympus and Stryker equipment . Ideal candidates have strong orthopedic experience, can work independently, and are comfortable handling a fast-paced surgical schedule.

Responsibilities :

Provide perioperative care for patients undergoing orthopedic and other surgical procedures

Assist in patient preparation, intraoperative care, and post-operative recovery

Document patient care in Paragon EMR system

Participate in on-call coverage as required

Ensure patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols

Requirements :

Active NYS RN license

Minimum 2 years OR experience required

Orthopedic experience required

BLS required

Travel experience preferred

NIHSS certification and 6 CEUs on stroke-related topics required prior to start

Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced OR environment

Unit Notes :

Community Hospital – 90 beds

RN : PT ratio – 1 : 1

Equipment : Olympus and Stryker

Heavy orthopedic caseload
