Responsibilities

Jointly responsible with the Project Manager for the overall success of the project. Responsible for meeting schedule, controlling costs, and managing manpower and equipment on assigned project. Provides continuous hands-on field supervision of all construction operations, including subcontractors and other construction related personnel, directing them in the planning, scheduling, and execution of work on time, within budget, and with high standards of workmanship. Attains or exceeds profit goals and promotes workplace safety while meeting or exceeding owner's expectations. Promotes a positive company image. Is the leader on every project and is ultimately responsible for its operational success.
Maintain the project schedule by updating and providing a 2-3 week look-ahead each week. Coordinate with subs to discuss inspections, milestones, and manpower to meet the schedule. Verify subs have necessary equipment and materials for on-site dates.
Review progress, adjust work schedules, and request additional manpower as needed to maintain the schedule.
Maintain knowledge of current plans, specs and submittal data, including authorized revisions. Inspect work to ensure workmanship meets specifications and is on schedule.
Manage on-site safety, cleanliness, and orderliness. Proactively identify and help remedy design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues.
Lead the on-site team from construction start through project close and maintain relationships with clients.

Qualifications

10+ years' experience in Commercial Supervision of Ground Up and Fit Outs of projects for a General Contractor

10+ years reading and interpreting Drawings / Blueprints

OSHA certifications (preferred)

Valid driver's license with ability to travel

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Ability to work additional hours to meet business plan goals

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel; working knowledge of Procore a plus

Ability to read and interpret drawings and verify subcontractor workmanship

Effective communication and leadership abilities; ability to collaborate with Project Managers and clients
