Position Summary

As a vital member of our ICU team, you will :

Implement care plans, including medication administration and clinical treatments.

Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families.

Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.

Collaborate across disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Evaluate and educate patients and families based on their unique needs.

Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of your patients.

Float to other departments as needed to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios.

Manage ventilators and critical drips, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Pass a rhythm recognition test within 90 days of hire / transfer.

Minimum Qualifications

Education : Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

License : Current RN license to practice in the state of KY.

Certifications :

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year of hire

Handle with Care training within 30 days of orientation, renewed annually
